Intel has been researching to see how popular laptop computers are to desktops. Paul Otellini the Chief Executive at Intel stated that through their research they believe that by 2009 laptops will have surpassed desktops in sales.
Laptops have much more features and better technology that allows people to get more accomplished and allows them to use it as their portable media system or as their job on the go. Intel believes that the functionality of laptops and the features will only increase with time.
Intel has also learned that over one billion people either own or have access to a laptop. Intel is working on supporting technologies that will help bring laptops to the rest of the people on a large scale.

Yes, i agree that laptops will be more popular than desktops in 2009.
Laptops of 2009 will be great and have very advanced features.
i am expecting big changes in 2009 laptops . i think 2009 laptops will be smaller and thinner then this year. 2009 will be netbooks year, like Asus EEE Pc, Msi Wind.

yea~i'm agree~~but i'm looking forward for high-end laptop~hope that this year gona have more high performance laptop with latest technology,like ddr3 and more advance processor~
