Word is that Asus will have three new netbook models on display at the upcoming CeBIT trade show. These laptops appear to be updated versions of the Eee PC 1005PE and Eee PC 1008P.
Here are the details assuming that the sources are indeed correct.
Asus Eee PC 1015P: This model features a matte display and an aluminum case. It seems to be an updated version of the Eee PC 1005P. The Eee PC 1015P will reportedly offer 14 hours of runtime.
Asus Eee PC 1018P: This model has a thin profile and looks more like the Eee PC 1008P. It will also have an aluminum case and a redesigned touchpad. Other features include a fingerprint reader, and USB 3.0 ports. The battery is expected to provide up to 10 hours of runtime.
Asus Eee PC 1016P: This model is likely to be aimed at businesses. If that is indeed so, it may compete with HP Mini 5102 and Lenovo ThinkPad X100e. It will also have an aluminum case and a battery rated at 14 hours.
