GIGABYTE ANNOUNCES 11.6 INCH CONVERTIBLE TABLET WITH CORE 2010 PROCESSOR

Gigabyte will unveil an 11.6 inch convertible tablet PC at Computex next week. The company already has a line of thin and light convertible tablets. The newest addition to the family is called Gigabyte M1125. This model will have an 11.6 inch HD touchscreen display with 1366 x 768 pixels. It will also feature a full-sized keyboard.

The Gigabyte M1125 will be powered by an Intel Calpella chipset which covers the Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors. It is, however, not clear exactly which processor Gigabyte will throw in the notebook.

The Gigabyte M1125 will also feature speedy USB 3.0 ports, optical disc drive and a docking station. That's all we know at the moment. No word on hard drive capacity, pricing or availability. But Gigabyte has no history of launching cheap machines. This one is unlikely to be different.
