
MSI unveiled two tablets at CES yesterday. The machines called MSI Wind Pad 100 and MSI Wind Pad 110 both feature 10 inch touchscreen displays. But the under the hood these are totally different machines.
Wind Pad 100 Windows 7 tablet
The MSI WindPad 100 is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor. It runs Windows 7 Ultimate. MSI has also developed a touch-friendly program launcher called Wind Touch. Other features include a webcam, an HDMI output for transferring 720p HD video to an HDTV and 2 USB ports. The 10.1 inch capacitive display features 1024 x 600 pixels. The MSI Wind Pad 100 will reportedly hit the streets later this year for about $499.
MSI Wind Pad 110
The MSI Wind Pad 110 is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset.It also has a 10 inch capacitive touchscreen display and USB ports. The Wind Pad 110 runs Android 2.1. It is expected to be available for $399 by the end of this year.
