The Toshiba Satellite T215D-S1140 has a 1.7GHz AMD Athlon II Neo K125 single core processor and a 250GB hard disk. The other model, the Satellite T215D-S1150 has a AMD Athlon II Neo Dual-Core K325 1.3GHz CPU and 320GB of storage space. Both models ship with the ATI Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics, 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 6-cell battery which will reportedly power the machines for up to 5.15 hours, Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, and an external USB DVD writer (optional).
The Satellite T215 has an 11.6 inch LED backlit display with 1366 x 768 pixels. Other features include a full-sized keyboard, a built-in webcam, microphone, stereo speakers, WiFi 802.11n, Ethernet LAN, three USB ports (one of which is shared with an eSATA port, multi-in-1 memory card reader, and VGA and HDMI outputs.
Pricing and availability
The notebooks feature a Fusion Chrome finish in red. While the Satellite T215D-S1140 start at $469.99, theT215D-S1150 has a starting price of $499.99.
