Hannspree is not a major PC maker. Nevertheless, the company has been launching mini-laptops and other consumer electronics products for a while. And now Hannspree is entering the tablet space as well. The upcoming Hannspree tablet does have some impressive specs. The device will reportedly start shipping in November. It will have a 10 inch display.
The tablet will be powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 2 1GHz processor. It will run Google Android 2.2 which means that it will support Adobe Flash. The tablet will also have 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for storage expansion, WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI output and a USB port. It will sell for about 399 Euros (about $500 US) in Germany. The tablet will be able to handle 1080p HD video, thanks to the Tegra processor. It will ship with a 3500mAh battery. No word on pricing or availability in the US.
