MEET KT IDENTITY TAB THAT LOOKS LIKE THE SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB

Most tablets - those that already ship and the upcoming ones - can be broadly classified into two categories: Those that have a 'Pad' in their name and those that have a 'Tab' in their name. Among the 'Pad' tablets, the iPad is the King. The latter category includes the Neofonie WeTab and Samsung Galaxy Tab. And now the KT Identity Tab has also joined the list.

The Identity Tab has already hit SK Telecom, South Korea's largest wireless carrier. It looks an awful lot like the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab.

The Identity Tab has a 7 inch multitouch display, 8GB of internal memory, 3MP camera, a DMB TV tuner, gyro-sensor and SD card reader. It is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Customers can pick up the tablet for the local equivalent of $252, or for free with a 2 year WiMax (WiBro in Korea) contract.
