DELL STREAK 7 PASSES THROUGH FCC

The Dell Streak 7 has passed through the FCC. Although Dell has confirmed that it is building 7- and 10 inch tablets, it hasn't yet officially announced the Streak 7. Nevertheless, the little machine has been very much in news recently. Last week we saw it featuring in a leaked commercial treatment, then it earned its WiFi certification and yesterday some more photos of the tablet leaked out. And now it has passed the FCC hurdle too.

According to FCC documents, the Streak 7 (also called Looking Glass) will have a UMTS 3G modem which will work with AT&T and T-Mobile in the US, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n. Some leaked photos of the tablet has already shown it with T-Mobile branding.

Detailed specifications of the device are not yet available. Although, previous rumors had suggested that it would have a Tegra 2 processor, it is not clear whether that is true. It is also not clear whether the tablet will be able to make phone calls. But now that leaks are coming one after the other one thing is certain: The Dell Streak 7 is nearing its launch.
