HP PAVILION DV6 SPOTED WITH INTEL SANDY BRIDGE PROCESSOR IN SINGAPORE

Intel will officially launch its Sandy Bridge processors at CES in January. And it looks like HP will be the first company to sell a laptop equipped with the new Sandy Bridge Core series processors. An HP Pavilion dv6 sporting the new processor has been spotted in an electronics store in Singapore.

The new Pavilion dv6 has the same case design as the previous line of dv6 laptops. The only major difference is that the new model has a Sandy Bridge processor inside.

Specs-wise, the laptop has a 15.6 inch LED backlit display. It is powered by a 2GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM processor which can reach a Turbo Boost speed of 2.8GHz. The laptop also has an AMD Radeon HD 6570M graphics card.

Pricing and availability
Right now this model seems to be only available in Singapore. It is priced at $1,900 Singapore dollars (about $1,399 USD).
