MSI WIND U270 WITH AMD ZACATE PROCESSOR GETS OFFICIAL

MSI has officially introduced its Wind U270 ultraportable notebook with AMD Zacate processor. The MSI Wind U270 has been doing the rounds since December 2010, but few details were available until now. Now that the company has released an official press release, we have the detailed specs.

The MSI Wind U270 has a 12.1 inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It is powered by a 1.6GHz AMD Zacate E-350 dual core processor with AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics. The notebook supports up to 8GB of DDR3 memory and up to 320GB of hard drive space. Other specifications include 720p webcam, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 USB 3.0 port, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and HDMI output. Both 3-cell and 6-cell battery options are available.

The MSI Wind U270 runs Windows 7 Home Premium. Still no word on pricing or availability.
