The Samsung NC110 is a 10 inch netbook the company introduced at CES in January. It has a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 single core processor, 1 GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive and Windows 7 Starter Edition operating system. Like other netbooks from Samsung the NC110 also sports a matte display which is usable in bright surroundings. Although glossy displays look better than matte displays, they virtually turn into mirrors when you use the netbook in direct sunlight.
The NC110 has a relatively thin bezel. Although this isn't the first feature you would notice upon opening the netbook, it does make the machine look more attractive. The touchpad is nice and wide, it but it doesn't have distinct left and right buttons. The Samsung NC110 is now available for purchase from J&R for $289.
