The ThinkPad W520 is aimed at architects and graphics professionals. It can be configured with 2nd generation Core i series processors up to the Extreme Edition Core i7-2920XM. Other specifications include NVIDIA Quadro 1000M or 2000M discrete graphics with NVIDIA Optimus automatic graphics switching technology, optional full HD display with 270-nit brightness and optinal X-Rite color calibration sensor in the palm rest.
While dual-core configurations support up to 8GB of RAM, quad-core models are available with up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM. The supported connectivity options include 802.11n Wi-Fi, optional Bluetooth 3.0, optional 3G, Gigabit LAN, and a 56k modem.
The ThinkPad W520 is now available from Lenovo.com for a starting price of $1,299.00.
