NETBOOK NAVIGATOR NAV7 WINDOWS TABLET UP FOR PRE-ORDER

Netbook Navigator has started taking pre-orders for its 7 inch Windows tablet called Nav7. The machine has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor and a 1024 x 600 pixels multitouch display. It runs Windows 7 operating system.


The Nav7 starts at $649. If you place your order today, your tablet should ship in late May. The base configuration has 1GB of RAM, a 16GB SSD, Bluetooth, WiFi, 2 USB ports and an Ethernet jack. Bear in mind that $649 don't get you an operating system.

The lowest possible configuration with Windows 7 Home Premium runs $749. Windows 7 Professional and Ultimate operating systems are also available. It is also possible to configure the tablet with 32GB or 64GB of storage, 2GB of RAM and 3G. The top-of-the-line model will run a $1249.

Sure, the Nav7 isn't the cheapest Windows tablet on the market. But it does have a few things going for it. For one thing, it is one of the first Windows 7 tablets with a 7 inch display. It also offers plenty of configuration options.
