TOSHIBA PORTEGE R835 NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE

The 13.3 inch thin-and-light Toshiba Portege R835 notebook is now available for purchase. The machine features Intel's 2nd generation Core i series processors.
Two models are currently available. While Toshiba Direct sells the Portege R835-ST3N01 with Intel's Core i3-2310M processor, Newegg has in stock a model called the R835-P56 with Intel's Core i5-2410M processor.


Both models have 4 GB of DDR3 memory, a 640GB hard drive, built-in DVD burner and a six-cell battery which will reportedly get up to 9 hours of life on a single charge.

The Toshiba Portege R835 weighs 3.2 pounds and measures 1 inch in thickness. The 13.3 inch LED backlit display has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Other specifications include a spill-resistant keyboard, Intel HD integrated graphics, USB 3.0 port, webcam and HDMI output port.

The Toshiba Portege R835 runs Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. Both models are priced at $899.99.
