NVidia Tegra 2 processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. The 7.7 inch display has a resolution of 1024×600 pixels.
Other specifications include 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+ EDR, microSD card, HDMI output and GPS. The tablet has two cameras - a 5MP camera with LED flash on the rear side and a 2 megapixel camera on the front side.
Sharp says that the tablet will get up to 7.5 hours of runtime. In Japan buyers will be able to pick the tablet for $1 provided that they sign up for a long term service contract with the mobile data carrier EMOBILE. The SIM-free version of the tablet runs the local equivalent of $400 US.
