ARCHOS NEW LAUNCHES NEW 7 AND 10 INCH ARNOVA TABLETS

Archos has launched two new tablets in its Arnova lineup. The new 7 and 10 inch tablets have slightly better specs than the existing models. Here is a quick overview.

Arnova 10 G2
The new Arnova 10 G2 has a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixels capacitive touchscreen display. It will be powered by a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor. It runs Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The tablet will be available in two models - one with 4GB of storage and another with 8GB of storage. It will also have a microSDHC card slot for expansion of storage. Like other Archos tablets, the Arnova 10 G2 will also support a range of multimedia codecs.

Arnova 7 G2
The Arnova 7 G2 has a 7 inch, 800 x 480 pixels capacitive touchscreen display. It is identical to the 10 inch model, but it is smaller. This model also has an ARM Cortex-A8 processor, Android 2.3 operating system and a 4GB or 8GB of storage. It can also handle a range of multimedia codecs. No word on the pricing or availability of the new models.
