Asus has already showed off an 11.6 inch ultrabook called UX21. We also know that the company is working on a 13 inch model called the UX31. Now Financial Times report that Asus is working on more models. These could have a starting price of $799, but could go up as high as $1999.
While introducing the ultrabook concept, Intel had said that these machines would sell for under $1000. But it looks like it was a tall claim. PC makers have already made it clear that components are too pricey to meet that target. However, we could see entry level systems going for around $800. Even at that price point they aren't exactly cheap.
