FUJITSU UNVEILS ARROWS TAB F-01D RUGGED TABLET

Plenty of Android tablets with similar specs are available in the market at the moment, but Fujitsu wants to make its offering a little different. The company's Arrows Tab F-01D is kind of rugged. It has a water proof and ruggedized case. That means it will be able to survive some light rain and minor drops.


The Arrows Tab F-01D will reportedly launch on the Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo next week. It has a 1 GHz TI OMAP4430 dual core processor and a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display. It runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system. Other specifications include 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and front and rear cameras. The tablet has the regular array of ports and support 2G, 3G and 4G wireless connections.

Fujitsu's tablet will also have a digital TV tuner which is designed to work with Japanese television broadcast. No word on pricing at the moment.
