TOSHIBA TO LAUNCH ITS THIRD TABLET AT THE IFA TRADE SHOW

Toshiba is getting ready to launch its second, actually third, tablet. The company's first tablet, the Toshiba Folio, wasn't a success. The second tablet, the Toshiba Thrive, has been available for a while. Though not an iPad beater, it has been a successful machine and has many features that set it apart from the rest.


Now the third tablet is on the way. Notebook Italia reports that the new tablet will be thinner than the Thrive. It will have a brushed metal finish with chromed edges.The new tablet won't have many features found in the Thrive. For instance, it will not have full-sized USB, HDMI and SD card connections. Instead, it will have a microSD card slot, mini HDMI port and microUSB port. Still no word on the processor, price or other important specs.

Toshiba's new tablet is expected to launch at the IFA trade show next week.
