MACBOOK PRO UPDATE COMING IN NOVEMBER

Apple will reportedly launch a refreshed version of its MacBook Pro in November. The company was supposed to launch the update in September, but had to push it back probably because they wanted to focus on the launch of the iPhone 4S.


The refresehed MacBook Pros are expected to have the same looks. But under the hood, it will have a faster Intel Sandy Bridge processor. The new Intel Core i7 processors have higher clock speeds than the current generation of processors.

The new MacBook Pro will reportedly also support the Bluetooth 4.0 standard which consumes much less power than the existing Bluetooth 3.0 standard. The MacBook Air and Mac Mini already have Bluetooth 4.0.

Overall, it looks like this is going to be a minor update. Apple may refresh the laptop again in the first half of 2012 with the next gen Ivy Bridge processors.
