ACER ICONIA TAB A200 NOW AVAILABLE FOR $350

Best Buy has started selling the Acer Iconia Tab A200 Android tablet in the US. It runs $349.99. The Iconia Tab A200 is a budget-minded tablet with a dual core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system. It has a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.


Although the Iconia Tab A200 has decent hardware, it can’t claim to be top-of-the-line especially since it is competing with tablets with quad-core processors and full HD displays. Acer itself is launching two higher-end tablets called Iconia Tab A510 and A700. Of course they will carry higher price tags.

Meanwhile Acer has announced plans to upgrade the tablet to Android 4.0.
The Iconia Tab A200 has also got 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera and 24.1 Whr battery. It weighs about 1.6 pounds and measures about half an inch in thickness.
