The original Adam was the first tablet to launch with a NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor and optional Pixel Qi low power sunlight readable display. While the tablet had excellent hardware, it was only produced in limited quantities. You still can’t walk into a store and buy and Adam tablet.
The Adam II too in unlikely to be produced in large quantities. It won’t be the first tablet to ship with TI OMAP 4 processor or Android 4.0 OS either. Nonetheless it does have a few impressive features. Notion Ink says that Adam II will have a ‘Modular Based Software Architecture’ which will allow app developers to build apps using company’s development tools.
